The Library and Information Centre of Patras University is committed to serve equally all members of its community. By following both the EU directives and the national legislation concerning the accessibility of people with disabilities, LIC tries to help all citizens ensure their independence, social integration and seamless participation in the full range of its services and activities. In this context, the Library provides:
- Accessible facilities for people with disabilities, in accordance with the national standards as set by the FEK B 18 – 15/01/2002. All levels are accessible, either by lift or special curb ramps, while there are also provided two parking spaces, which are clearly marked in front of the building, and restroom accommodations on every floor.
- Two workstations, one for the visually impaired and one for people with mobility problems, with the appropriate assistive technologies. The workstations are free to use. Learn about the equipment and related services from this webpage.
If you are a person with some kind of disability and you are interested in using our services or would like more information please contact Mrs. Papadatou Fieroula (email: email@example.com, tel: 2610 969 628).
